BEWARE POTENTIAL USERS OF PRICELINE!

If you should fall for William Shatner's clever commercials on tv and radio and decide to use PRICELINE.COM you need to know this

THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF IF THEY CAN!

In using their site you will you will have to enter your credit card BEFORE you can even look for pricing. Then you will plow though page after page of legalese and fine print. You probably won't read it because..after all..who does?

When you click through these pages you will have agreed to

TAKE WHATEVER THEY GIVE YOU,
and PAY WHATEVER THEY CHARGE YOU!

You will have absolutely NO recourse in this. And if they give you something that you did not ask for, they will say "TOUGH *&%@" when you ask for a refund.

The website will ask you questions leading you to believe that you have options, but there are none.

THIS IS A FORCED SALE. IF YOU GOT THIS FAR IN THEIR SITE, YOU ARE BUYING SOMETHING WHETHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT!

Here's what happened to us:
My husband had a business trip to Florida. He went to PRICELINE.COM to look for an inexpensive fare. His specification for time was LATE AFTERNOON on FRIDAY.
They charged our credit card $450.00 for a flight at 9AM on THURSDAY. He was unable to use the ticket. There was no recourse from PRICELINE.COM, or from the airline directly.

PRICELINE ripped us off and there is nothing we can do about it!

DON'T LET PRICELINE.COM RIP YOU OFF!
DON'T USE THEM!

Do YOU have a PRICELINE.COM horror story? email me and I'll post it here!

Hi Penny,
I was on priceline trying to get a ticket to Florida for my wife and 2 daughters(10 and 1). At some point in what I thoght was price shopping they purchased the tickets. I found out that would leaving from Boston at 7:45 PM and arriving in Orlando around midnight after a stop in NY. On the return flight they would not be able to sit together and they would be flying in a 37 seat plane for the whole 1200 mile trip. I called them within the hour and explainde that I did not want or intend to authorize the purchase and that I would never be able to expect my family to endure the hardship of the flight hours, being separted, and flying on a 37 seat sardine can. They said sorry you didnt want those tickets but your stuck with them. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told there was no one else to talk to. I went to my bank and signed a statement saying that I did not authorize the transaction. They faxed it to priceline within about 3 hours of the purchase and priceline still processed the transaction. It looks as though I am going to be out $624 for ticket I will never use. Thier website is extremely misleading and borderline criminal. Ted
